& Co. was founded in 1963 and offers a complete range of Mechanical
Engineering services for Commercial, Industrial, Institutional and Recreational
building projects. The firm is owned by its principals and senior employees.

We design
and document mechanical building systems in conjunction with owners, architects
and other engineering companies for tender and construction. Service areas
include heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing,
drainage, and sprinkler and fire protection systems. In association with
consultants in other disciplines, we are able to offer prime consultant
services for mechanical upgrade projects. |
In addition,
the firm offers services related to the above in the form of engineering
reports, feasibility studies, cost budgeting, troubleshooting of existing
systems, operating procedures, preventive maintenance and energy conservation
programmes. J.M. Bean & Co. is associated with the BC Hydro Power Smart Alliance and
has LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) qualifications for
Green Building design.
