Experienced in the design and commissioning of heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems for a wide range of applications, with emphasis on educational, recreational, and institutional projects since 1966.

Nominated to sit on National Research Council Standards Committee on Energy Conservation in Buildings.

Member of ASHRAE Task Group TG 4.CCD, Cold Climate Design

Joined J.M. Bean & Co. in 1966 and progressed to overall responsibility and supervision of project engineering design with the firm.

President, 1987 to 2005.

Particular attention has been given over the past several years to the design of Heating and Ventilating systems, Heat Recovery systems and Energy Management systems for Educational and Recreational facilities.

Maintains supervisory involvement in projects from initial concept stage through budgeting, design development, tendering, construction review, and final commissioning of the mechanical systems.
