BURNABY LAKE SPORTS COMPLEX

Plans to add a second arena at this site in the City of Burnaby started in 1994. The new arena has a NHL size sheet of ice and is also used for high school graduation ceremonies, trade shows, and lacrosse in summer. Half of the building's 3000 bleacher seats can be folded up to provide additional floor space. Building construction began in 1996 and was completed in 1997.
